I meant to include this photo in my series on sunsets for this week’s WP Weekly Photo Challenge: The Golden Hour, but for some reason I didn’t. It was taken in Montreux, CH along the banks of Lac Leman/Lake Geneva.

RIP “Funky Claude.”
Beautiful stand-alone photograph. I enjoyed Montreaux – but we visited a long time ago. Boy time does go by fast. It is one of those places I would like to return to but there are also so many places I have never seen than beckon me.
After you “circumnavigate the globe,” Montreux will still be there waiting for you with open arms. Give the Freddie Mercury statue a big hug for me. 🙂
Breathtakingly gorgeous, Tom. 🙂
Thanks for the thumbs-up!
Stunning shot…great job
Thanks MM!
You betcha
Also beautiful. I keep thinking of “Smoke on the Water”, though. 🙂

Well, there is some Deep Purple hues in there. 🙂
And possibly some of “fire in the sky.” 🙂
Wow – it deserves its own post.
Unintended, but that’s exactly what happened. Glad you liked this “solo” frame.
Gorgeous!
Thanks, Ruth!
Wow Tom…beautiful
Thanks, Jo!
