Good Wines

Welcome to the Good Wines section of The Palladian Traveler blog.

I love vino, vin, wine. I’ll take it in any language, any color and just about any blend. Depending what’s on my plate, I like it dry, demi-sec or sparkling. As long as it doesn’t come in a box or jug, I’m open for a tasting, or two.

I’m not a connoisseur, but I am passionate about all-things Bacchus. You could say that I am WINEFEROUS (wigh-NEHF-er-uhs), an adjective that takes its origin from VINIFEROUS: Suitable for or used in winemaking.

A newly-harvested word, actually a creation of TPTWINEFEROUS is a person who is an avid end-user of the results of VINIFEROUS; one who is passionate about everything related to wine making: from picking, to pressing, to consuming.

The wines listed on this part of TPT blog have all been sampled prior to being posted and are highly recommended. For a “virtual” tasting of one or all of the wines currently in our cellar, simply select from the pull-down titles underneath the Good Wines: Homepage header.

New bottles are arriving regularly, so check back often. Here’s hoping you’ll become WINEFEROUS, too.

Salute!

  1. I’m loving this page! Just ordered a case of 2006 Terre de Trinci Montefalco Sagrantino. Is it true the 2010 vintage is/will be as good?!!!
