I was in Venice recently to help celebrate a friend’s 50th birthday with a delicious dinner at Ristorante Al Graspo de Ua, an eatery of note in La Serenissima.
Before and after the dinner party, I meandered around the “City of Canals” without a care in the world. I took in the sights and sipped on a Spritz Veneziano.
For the day, I felt like an “anonymous Venetian.”

Great website. Will be in Venice on 9/28/13. Need personal guide for one day. Any suggestions?
