Thirty Hours in Venice

Thirty Hours in Venice |©thepalladiantraveler.comOnly a 45-min. train ride from my creative hideaway, Venice is a regular destination of mine whenever the mood strikes. And, it strikes often.

Recently, I was invited to La Serenissima by Walks of Italy to experience its Legendary Venice guided tour of the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica. Without blinking an eye, I said yes — why wouldn’t I? — packed an overnight bag, grabbed a hotel room along a quiet calle and ended up spending 30 hours in the City of Canals with my knife, fork, spoon and camera.

My Walks of Italy dispatch will be out soon. In the meantime, here’s a taste of my recent 30 hours in Venice.

Ciao for now.
