Just like bears, wintertime is hibernation time for scores of people living in colder climes, right? But, I’m happy to say, I’m not your average ursinae and try my best to stretch my legs, no matter the time of year, the weather outside or where I happen to be.
This weekend, I found myself inside the Parco Regionale dei Colli Euganei (Euganean Hills Regional Park), the large nature reserve that’s home to a unique formation of 81 conical-shaped hills of volcanic origin, located near Padova in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy.
Under the warmth of sunny skies, I took advantage of a section of the 63 kilometers-long bike-walking path that meanders through 15 boroughs outlining the park to get in my RDA of 10,000 steps.
Along the route, I stopped often to take in the views and get off a few blog-worthy shots. Care to have a look?
