Macro Topped Phoneographic Phlatbread Pizza

Pizza with Macro Toppings | ©Tom Palladio ImagesWhat does an artist start with when he/she begins to create another masterpiece? A blank canvas, a palette of colors and a brush, right?

And what does one begin with when creating a homemade pizza pie? Rolled dough (the canvas), a cutting board of toppings (color palette), and a spatula or spoon (the brush).

Whether in the kitchen or the studio, every creation starts out from scratch, just an idea that slowly but surely takes shape and eventually is phramed or devoured on the spot.

This being the MACRO‘s turn in the weekly Phoneography Challenge, I’m relying on my strong suit, phood photography, to visually show, via an iPhone 5, the steps involved in creating one of my delicious, mouth-watering, homemade phlatbread pizzas.

You be the judge, but don’t you think it’s suitable for phraming?

Until next Monday, let your phone be your lens.

  1. They’re all marvelously tempting. Love your title, and it’s terribly hard to select my favorite. Food (Phood) photography is truly a challenge, and you do it so–o-o-o-o well. Plus you are obviously a seasoned Italian cook. Being a vegetarian, pesto pizza is a regular. Also enjoy your various perspectives on the steps to the grand finale. YUMMY!!!!!!!!

  2. Your color palette is quite lovely, as is your phinished masterpiece. Definitely suitable for phraming by your lens, then on to phurther enjoyment with a glass of red. Bravissimo!

  3. Phantastic montage – you really set the standard! I phaced this post bephore breakphast though – living in the Antipodes just adds to the phun.
