So much to see and so little time to blog about my observations on Insight Vacations‘ Country Roads of Italy journey through Umbria and Tuscany.
In less than 48 hours, I’ve experienced Rome by (rainy) night, visited the Vatican Museums, turned flour and eggs into pasta strings with The Etruscan Chef, nearly touched the sky in Orvieto and went underground in Perugia.
And, we’re just warming up. Still to come: Assisi, Spello, Cortone, San Gimignano, Fonterutoli, the Ferrari Automobile Musem, Bologna and Venice.
Here’s an assaggio (little taste) of what it’s looked like thus far.

Assisi……on my list of Italian Dreams
MG — You can read all about Assisi when I publish a new post tomorrow (Thursday). Buonanotte!
I’ve visited many of those towns and I can understand your enthusiasm. Lovely memories ahead for you.
Sally — It appears that I’m making memories every kilometer along the way.
What a fabulous tour, Tom, and so much seen already! Insight is such a great tour company.
Sylvia 🙂
Thanks very much, Sylvia. Looks like your Costa Rica trip is pretty exciting, too.
