Don’t let the title of this post fool you. This is not automotive in any way, nor does it have anything to do with me changing brands of virgin olive oil.
Sorry to mislead, but this is just a short note to say “thank you” to the followers, subscribers and occasional readers for “meandering along the cobblestone to somewhere” with me, my camera and notepad.
You’ll be happy to know, or maybe not, that today The Palladian Traveler blog, just like an oil-change interval, has pushed past the 50,000-views threshold.
For me, it’s a big deal to have arrived at this level, a plateau that I thought was out of my reach — and league — in the beginning as I watched my blog stats march ahead at a steady, slow pace just a tad quicker than a snail’s.
Launched in late July of last year, I had nary a clue of what I was doing; but, over time, and in large part through your collective feedback and encouragement, I was able to better define the purpose of TPT and refine this “work in progress.”
Thanks again for tagging along with me. See you at the 75k marker?
GRAZIE MILLE!

Well done, Tom….. I certainly don’t think the snail pace applies to you! 🙂
Thanks Sue!
Congratulations. Well done.
Grazie mille, Tux-C.
Bravo!
Well said. Thanks!
Congratulations, friend. I understand your excitement because even though I love the creativity of putting a post together, having other’s want to look at it and even “like” it doubles the fun. This is a well-deserved milestone!
Pat — Blogging is for the long haul, I hope Thanks, as usual, for the kudos and encouragement.
Congratulations and may you have many more!
Thanks very much.
Good for you! I know you’ll keep up the good work.

Until I tire, which is doubtful. See you at 75k, okay?
You’re welcome… 😉
