Saturated Summer Sojourns

For me, one of the best parts of going on vacation is returning home, downloading all of the photographs I took and getting straight to work sorting through the frames: deleting some, adjusting others, cataloging the ones that survived the cut, and then selecting and filing only those that I deem blog-worthy for future posts about my travel adventures.

Saturated Summer Sojourns | ©Tom Palladio ImagesThis summer, I managed to go on three separate vacations — exploring southwestern France in search of joie de vivre, hiking around the “Rooftop of the Apennines” and discovering surprising Senigallia. Along the way, I delighted in lots of great food and wine, and capped my “Summer of 2013” by documenting my adopted hometown as it put its best foot forward during its lengthy festival that punctuates l’estate in the City of Palladio.

Armed with my full compliment of camera gear, including an iPhone 5, I captured some scenes that were just bursting — SATURATED — with bright colors. Here’s a sampling of some of the colorful shots from my recent summer sojourns. Just click on a frame for the full-screen view.
