Cloudy Skies with a Chance of Disappointment

Foreshadow | ©Tom Palladio ImagesI have a sneaky suspicion that the gathering clouds above FORESHADOW a turn for the worse in the five-day forecast.

Not to worry though, I bought travel insurance with an inclement weather clause.

HEY UP THERE! YOU CAN’T RAIN ON MY PARADE. I’M COVERED!

Now, where did I put that darn umbrella.

Hmm.

      1. funny you should mention a spoon because the first thing I thought of when I saw that fork is the Walker Sculpture Garden’s spoon and cherry sculpture in Minneapolis. I wondered if the fork was done by the same artist: http://www.walkerart.org/

        lovely photos!!

      2. I don’t know. This fork, created in 1995 by artists Jean-Pierre Zaugg and Georges Favre, is stuck in Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) on the shoreline of Vevey in Switzerland. It’s there representing the Alimentarium, the world’s one-and-only food museum, operated by Nestlé, that’s opposite the fork on the dry land.

    1. Sure, spoon because of the water, but The Fork, created in 1995 by artists Jean-Pierre Zaugg and Georges Favre, is stuck in Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) on the shoreline of Vevey in Switzerland, represents the Alimentarium, the world’s one-and-only food museum, operated by Nestlé, that’s opposite the fork over on dry land.

  1. It’s been a little too good to be true for this part of the world. Sure we’re going to get our come uppance but I loved your photos anyway. 🙂

  2. Tom, I do believe this is your best writing. Your photos are good but… 🙂 Thanks for explaining the fork – I didn’t think you were into that type of photoshoping.

  3. We saw lots of amazing clouds today as we neared, and finally ascended, our mountains, and some zany sculpture yesterday as well. The first of the Wyoming pictures have made it to the post as well as some from South Dakota. Tomorrow the real vacation begins.
