Macros at the Marché

It’s the second Monday of the month and that can mean only one thing: MACRO Phoneography.

Just back from a vacation to the southwestern part of France, I took a lot of shots with my iPhone 5. This set, Macros at the Marché, was taken at the farmers’ market in Libourne.

If you occasionally shoot with an i-thingie, why not join in the fun and hone your craft. There’s a rotating phoneography challenge each and every Monday. For details, visit Sally’s Lens and Pens by Sally, Polly’s Watching The Photo Reels Go Round and Round or Gracie’s Frames and Focus.

C u next Monday.

    1. Tina — I know you just love your DSLR, but take a day or two and just pack the iPhone. Go local so you don’t shoot something important that will never come around again. Practice with it. It’s all about touching the screen and selecting the part of the frame you want to focus in on. Aside from that, zooming in/out and adjusting the light, there’s nothing else there to make it complicated. You’re an excellent framer, so get out there and capture some “annoying” shots. 🙂

  1. Beautiful shots everywhere on this blog. I also am experimenting with my iPhone and have been happy with the results. And I downloaded the 360* app after seeing what you’ve done with it. You’re an inspiration . . .

  2. Tom, I used my iPhone 5 while in Italy when I didn’t feel like lugging the 35 mm digital. My photos didn’t come out nearly as nice as yours. Looks like I’ve got some learning to do!
