Thanks to the collective efforts of all of the followers, blogging cohorts and email subscribers, The Palladian Traveler has just reached 30,000 views.
GRAZIE MILLE!
It’s certainly been a blast throwing lots of clutter out there in the blogosphere — travel notes and tips, photos, videos, Lazy Person homemade recipes, bottles of wine, Borsalino hats, etc. — and getting feedback from the same.
Going forward, what would you like to see on the TPT site?
More of what I’m burning in the kitchen? More wine recommendations? More hidden nuggets between the cobble as I continue my pursuit of la dolce vita? More photos? More videos? What am I missing?
What would you like to read, see or virtually smell and taste?
Let me know so that I’m not flying blind and accidentally bump into you. Scusami!
Thanks for joining me as I meander along the cobblestone to somewhere.
If I were the skipper at the controls in the cockpit of a triple-7 jetliner I’d happily announce: “This is your captain speaking. We’ve just reached our cruising altitude of 30,000 feet. You’re now free to fire up your laptops and logon to The Palladian Traveler blog site.”

Congrats! Keep doing what you’re doing. I enjoy the variety.
Cynthia — And variety you shall have. Thanks for meandering along with me.
Did I miss the mussels recipe? That’ll mean another hit because I can’t miss that 🙂 Congratulations Tom – more of the same please 🙂
Hey M, thanks for the push to continue going forward. Here’s the link to the spaghetti and mussels recipe: http://thepalladiantraveler.com/good-chefs/spaghetti-con-le-cozze/. Buon apetito!
Ah – that’s terrific! I’m really enjoying your quick and easy Italian/South Cal recipes for two – after all these years of having someone to cook for me, I’m finding it very ‘interesting’ making up meals for myself every day – and especially cooking for one – even after a month I’m still getting quantities and ratios mixed up 🙂
Congratulations Tom, looking forward to following you on your journey.
Thanks, Dan-O
Follow your own excitement, Tom, and we will come along. If you feel passion about what you are photographing and writing about, we will enjoy it. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
Just asking. Glad my quirky ways are right on target with you. Ciao!
Since four of us will be meandering in Venice for two days un September, I’m wondering if restaurant faire will hold a candle to your great food pics. You have a great blog and it’s fun checking in. Thanks. kaj

One restaurant tip for you while you’re in Venice: Ristorante Ai Cacciatori along the promenade on/in the Giudecca section. From the restaurant, eating outside, you’ll be looking across the water at St. Mark’s Square. Buon viaggio!
Congratulations, Tom. Love the variety in your posts. 🙂
Love you commenting, too. 🙂
🙂 Congratulations Tom 🙂
Thanks, Paula. You helped me climb up to this “altitude.” 🙂
😀 And who is your # 1 commenter?
Non cambiare niente ! Le tue scelte sono ottime. Ogni tanto io ci inserirei un po’ di storia ed un po’ di lingua italiana. Grazie
Va bene!
Wow, that’s quite a climb – congrats Tom!!
Thanks, Tina. I’m sure you’ll be along shortly if you haven’t already rose to the occasion. 🙂
Great work!! I’m just starting to getting to know your blog – but it looks wonderful. Grazie a te!! 🙂
Mac – As long as you link back to my original postings of my work, I don’t mind.
I love your street scenes and food photos! 😉 Congrats on your milestone.
Thanks, Ruth!
I think you have a great mix with your posts Tom. Keeps it fresh and creative.
Will do, and thanks again.
Hmm, well I am not surprised. You offer a great variety of posts which deliver a little something for everyone. Your talents are clearly obvious and it is always a joy to read your blog posts. I even attempted one of your recipes recently and I am not ashamed to say that I am no cook. Just do what you love, the love will follow you.
MG — Great comment. Thanks. So, which recipe did you test drive in your kitchen and how did it turn out? Hey, I’m not a cook either! 🙂
spaghetti – 26 maggio
Not as good as your photos – but I ate it 😉
(the extra glasses of vino helped)
One of these days I’ll send you my white chicken chili recipe. Do you have Blue Corn chips there? A must with it, if not I’ll send you some. Have packages going to Melfi anyway.
Can’t eat the photos. I hope it went down well.
