Sara of WordPress has us craning our necks and looking skyward, literally and metaphorically, for this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge: UP.
One UPmanship is defined as, “The art of outdoing or showing up a rival or competitor, as in exploits, privileges, or honors.”
Well, I’m not a gamer nor a conniver. Far from it. But, 1 UPmanship seems like a pretty good title from which to respond to this week’s challenge.
The ink and visuals aren’t even dry from my most recent post, Up the Down Staircases, so I thought I’d use a few leftovers — frames that didn’t quite make it off the cutting-room floor — add a few new ones, score it slightly different, and take you back UP those staircases outside and inside apartment #1 — my humble abode.
Enjoy the short climb, I mean video, as I attempt to one-UP myself.

You rose UP to a new level with this post and one-UPped us this time. Your new not-so-humble abode is now UP on a pedestal.
Thanks Pat. I was UP and at ’em early with this post.
You are way UP there with your interpretation…Thumb UP for you. I like the background music too.
Thanks, Opalla. Btw, background music by Vivaldi.
Vivaldi is easy to recognize, but hard to tell which exact piece. Which one is this please? 🙂
Vivaldi’s Concert in G Minor, 3d Movement.
I enjoyed your video and I really like your picture. The contrast between the curves and straight line, the wood and the white stairs are particularly pleasing.

Janet — Thanks for stopping by and commenting about my steps and stairs. Good luck with your move.
Such a wonderful collection of beautiful images.
Thanks again, Emily. Glad you’re getting caught up with all of my recent posts. I’m sure I’m behind the 8-ball on yours, but will get to them all soon. 🙂
