Food Coloring

Cheri of HQ WordPress takes the lead on this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge: COLOR.

From the oven, cooktop and grill, to the table, plate and glass, food and drink around the Bel Paese is very, very colorful and very, very appealing.

Italian culture is bookended by food, with art, architecture, design and fashion sandwiched in the middle.

Food, in all its variety, is the single most important ingredient of that illusive la dolce vita and probably the reason why so many tourists travel to her shores again and again to whet their appetites and wet their whistles.

Nothing says more about Italy than the food it prepares and the enjoyment that comes from its consumption. Simply put, la Penisola begins around the table and her color grows from there.

    1. Emily — Food photography isn’t too difficult. Shot in a “closed environment” with full control over the light. The trick is to be able to shoot well while cooking at the same time. Now, that’s difficult. Thanks for the thumbs-up! 🙂
